Green agricultural economic practices. No pesticides were sprayed on the tea plantation. The tea is hand-picked rather than mechanically harvested, helping to create jobs.

Rainfed agriculture does not deplete the underground water aquifer or interfere with surface flow. The tea is grown in fertile volcanic soil. Thirty percent of the farm is covered with trees, including some indigenous trees. As you tour or hike on the farm, enjoy the serene environment, accompanied by birdsong and occasional monkey chatter, and take in panoramic views of neighbouring farms, the expansive city of Nairobi, the Ngong Hills, and the Yatta Plateau. Occasionally, on a clear day, you may even get to see Mount Kenya
