Embark on an adventure tour from Tbilisi to the remote region of Khevsureti. Visit the stunning Zhinvali Reservoir, the historic Ananuri Fortress, and the beautiful mountain village of Roshka and its lakes.
Start your journey from Tbilisi and head into the wild and untouched mountains of Khevsureti, one of the most remote and authentic regions of the Caucasus.
Make your first stop at the breathtaking Zhinvali Reservoir, surrounded by impressive mountain scenery and turquoise waters. Soon after, continue your journey to the historic Ananuri Fortress, a medieval fortress complex overlooking the reservoir and one of Georgia’s most famous landmarks.
Enter the depths of Khevsureti, where the atmosphere completely changes. Here, modern civilisation is slowly disappearing and ancient mountain life is still preserved among stone villages and impressive peaks.
Then we will continue our journey to Roshki, where the Abudelauri Lake trails begin.
Abudelauri has 3 lakes, White, Blue, Green. The furthest of which is White Lake, about 4 km from the car park, which is located near the mountain peak. We can skip this and take the easy route. Blue and Green Lakes are about 2.5 km from the car park. It takes at least 1 hour to walk from the car park. It depends on the weather and our walking speed.
