The islet of Košljun is located in Puntarska Draga, about 800 metres from Puant. . It can be reached by taxi boats from Punat. The perimeter of the islet of lush vegetation is slightly larger than a thousand metres, its surface is 68 thousand square metres, and the highest point is 6 metres above sea level. There is a Franciscan monastery on Košljun, where the monks hid numerous valuables collected over the centuries and preserved them until today. Several valuable collections are exhibited on the island: ethnographic, natural history, archaeology, and a collection of sacred objects that are worth seeing. The Island is open for visitors every day from: 9.30 to 17.00. On Sundays only from: 10.30 to 12.30. The mass is every Sunday from 9.30 to 10.30. We are located in the centre of Punat and have a wooden, red and white boat called "IVEX''. Our Taxi Boat departs from Punat harbour, from 9.30 to 15.30 (Sundays 9:15 and 12:00). The boat trip takes 8 minutes there and 8 minutes back. The optimal time to visit the museums and walk on the island is 1-1,5 hours. If you want to stay shorter or longer on the island it is possible, let the captain know!
