What you can expect

Your experience begins when your tour guide choices you up from your accommodation, briefs you on the afternoon's activities, gives your gift bag and welcomes you aboard our air-conditioned vehicle.

Heading north from Noosa, enjoying a scenic drive through lush bushland, we’ll make our way through the Great Sandy National Park arriving at Habitat Noosa, where fresh grazing boards and cold beer (or wine) awaits you for lunch.

Situated on 65 acres of National Park and on the edge of stunning Lake Cootharaba (the largest tidal lake in Queensland), Habitat Noosa boasts breathtaking views, an award winning restaurant and a microbrewery.

Taking a seat at CootharaBAR & Bistro, you’ll enjoy mouthwatering grazing boards that showcase the freshest local ingredients to create dishes such as Salt and Pepper Calamari, local King Prawns, Pork Belly bites, Courgetter and roasted Tomato salad and more. You’ll also be able to enjoy a glass of wine or indulge in a craft beer paddle, with four beers from their selection that’s brewed on-site.

Eco Brewing Co. microbrewery offers up to 11 artesian beers. The water utilised in the beer is sourced directly from the Artesian Basin and filtered through sand and gravel for over 75 years. The end result is a completely natural beer containing no preservatives, additives or flavours.

Following lunch, your guide will introduce you to the team from Habitat Noosa Eco Safaris, who’ll take you on a wilderness experience like no other.

Stretching across two UNESCO Biosphere Reserves (Noosa and the Great Sandy) and 60kms of pristine waterways, the Noosa Everglades is one of only two everglades systems on Earth and the only one in the southern hemisphere. This relatively untouched ecosystem is a photographer’s dream and a must see for bird watcher’s and nature lovers.

During this 2.5 hour stillwater cruise taking in the breathtaking beauty and tranquility of the everglades system, your guide will provide full commentary throughout the journey showcasing the rich history of the region and little known facts about the River of Mirrors, the Noosa River and magnificent flora and fauna you’ll discover as you travel down the waterways.

We finish the day with a short stroll through the campsite back to the bus, where you’ll be able to see the local Kangaroos and wildlife that pay the grounds a visit as the sun starts to go down.
