What you can expect

Pick up at Summit Centre – Arusha at 06:00 and drive to Tarangire National Park; it will take about 2 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Maasai herds on the way. Once we arrive at the park, we will be welcomed by the troops of baboons walking around. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population, which has made this park famous. Also, the park has giant baobab trees nicknamed the tree of life; the most famous is Poucher’s hide old baobab tree with a slightly hidden entrance and an inside chamber that was formerly used by poachers as a hideaway. The poacher’s hide baobab tree has a diameter of 10 metres and is thought to be about 300 years old. While in Tarangire, you can also find many zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and even lions and cheetahs. We will have lunch at the picnic site in the park. Later your safari guide will drive you to Arusha
