Step inside Amore Art Gallery, in the heart of Taormina, for an exclusive experience dedicated to one of Sicily’s most iconic desserts: the cassata.
This is not a standard cooking class, but a refined creative ritual where pastry, art and Sicilian culture meet inside a contemporary art gallery. Guided by the host, you will discover the storey, symbolism and beauty behind the Sicilian cassata: its Arab, Norman and Baroque influences, its colours, its shapes and its unmistakable decorative language.
During the experience, you will take part in the final artistic creation of your own cassata, working with traditional ingredients such as ricotta cream, sponge cake, marzipan and candied fruit. The focus is on decoration, composition and visual harmony, transforming the dessert into a small edible artwork.
The atmosphere is intimate, elegant and relaxed, surrounded by contemporary artworks and the unique charm of Taormina. At the end, you will taste the cassata you helped create and enjoy a sweet moment of Sicilian hospitality inside the gallery.
A memorable experience for travellers looking for something authentic, exclusive and deeply connected to Sicily.
