What you can expect

  • The Cathedral of Syracuse, located in the stunning Piazza Duomo in Ortigia, is an architectural masterpiece that encompasses over 2,500 years of history. Its Doric columns, once part of the Temple dedicated to the Goddess Athena, now support one of the most fascinating and important churches in Sicily.
An immersive experience that combines a visit to Syracuse Cathedral with virtual reality (VR) technology. Through an interactive historical reconstruction, you will be able to discover the architectural evolution of the site, from the Temple dedicated to Athena to the current Baroque church, exploring details and spaces that are no longer visible today.

The time selected at the time of booking is not binding for admission. The ticket can be used at any time of the day, subject to the sites' opening hours.

We recommend checking the updated visiting days and times at www.secretsiracusa.it before your visit. Opening hours may also be subject to changes or restrictions for masses, celebrations or special events.
