Rugged Alpine peaks, tranquil lakes, dense forests, flowering dry meadows and wild river valleys alternative in a very confined area. This diversity makes Switzerland a paradise for observing nature. From rare alpine plants to impressive wildlife.
Whether golden eagles, chamois, squirrels, deer or rare migratory and breeding birds. There are fascinating species to discover in every region. Spring and summer beckon with colourful alpine flora and lively bird activity, autumn presents itself with golden forests and wildlife sightings, and even in winter, with a bit of luck, you can follow exciting animal tracks in the snow or observe waterfowl in peace on the lakes.
The tours are led by Michel Hänggi, a field ornithologist, nature expert and ranger with over 20 years of experience. With professional expertise, passion and a trained eye, he will show you nature's hidden treasures and provide fascinating insights into the interrelationships of habitats. It's not just about observing, but also about understanding and being amazed.

Sample route in the Alps: We start at the Beatenberg cable car and take the cable car up to the Niederhorn. On the Niederhorn, you can observe ibex, chamois, birds of prey and small birds such as crested tits. After that, we will hike along an easy trail to the Vorsass intermediate station. Forest animals can be observed along the way. From Vorsass, we head back to Beatenberg.
Schedule and duration:
– Half-day tour: up to 3 hours
– Full-day tour: up to 6 hours
– The tours take place on foot and can be individually adapted to the terrain as well as the wishes and fitness levels of the participants.
