When you arrive at Cala Saona, one of the most iconic coves in Formentera, we'll welcome you at our beachside activity centre. Just a 2-minute walk away, you'll find a free car park, ideal for those arriving by car or motorcycle.
This cove is perfect for stand-up paddleboarding thanks to its crystal-clear waters, which are usually calm, and its large, shallow, buoyed area, which guarantees a safe activity, especially for families with children or people with no prior experience.
After a short briefing on use and safety, you'll receive the necessary gear (board, paddle, and life jacket) and can start paddling at your own pace, exploring the nearby cliffs and discovering the famous sea caves in the area. There, if you wish, you can go snorkelling and marvel at the crystal-clear water and the marine life.
And if you choose to do the activity in the afternoon, you'll have the chance to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in Formentera, with the sun dipping below the horizon and the magical silhouette of Es Vedrà in the background.
