Feel the gentle coastal winds as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the Lowcountry marshes in vibrant hues. This intimate 2-hour sailing adventure accommodates a maximum of six guests, offering a peaceful, unhurried escape far removed from crowded waterways and busy harbours.

Know before you book

    • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
    • You are invited to bring your own lunch and favourite alcoholic drinks. Coolers are welcome
    • Salon seating area is covered for sun protection, and we have cockpit cushions and pillows for your comfort.
    • Guests are kindly requested to remove their shoes unless they are boat shoes with non-marring soles.
    • Weight Restriction of 300 lbs per person for safety. Minimum Age of 7 for children.
    • Please avoid bringing spray lotions, firearms, drugs, and no smoking on the vessel.
    • The Captain is responsible for the safety of all passengers and crew. If any guest is deemed intoxicated or behaves in a way that may endanger the vessel or others, we reserve the right to end the charter and return to the dock. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.
    • By booking this charter, guests agree to comply with all safety instructions provided by the Captain.

Activity itinerary

Cruise across the open channels of Winyah Bay as your guide shares fascinating local history about the region, including the heritage of nearby landholdings like Hobcaw Barony, Cat Island, and North Island. Depending on weather and water conditions, the route may pass historic landmarks such as the remains of the Harvest Moon shipwreck or offer distant views of the historic Georgetown Lighthouse. Throughout the 2-hour trip, guests are welcome to actively participate in handling the sails or simply sit back, relax on the cockpit cushions, and enjoy the scenery. Sunset Cruise starts at the boat at 4:30 pm for all dates after September 12. Please call with questions.
