Sunny Beach: Private Pomorie Salt Pans, Pink Lake & Mud Therapy
Escape the busy resort atmosphere of Sunny Beach and discover one of the closest natural wellness spots on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. This private budget-friendly trip takes you to the ancient salt pans of Pomorie, near Aheloy, a place where sea, lake, black sand and mineral-rich mud create a simple but unforgettable outdoor spa experience.
Travel by private car in a small group of 1 to 4 people and enjoy a relaxed visit of around 2 hours. This is a great option for guests who want something authentic, natural and different, without joining a large bus excursion.
Visit the Pomorie salt pans, one of the oldest traditional salt-producing areas in Bulgaria. See the beautiful pink lake, a scenic and decorative photo spot that gives the area its special charm. The pink lake is not the main swimming attraction and does not contain a very high level of salt for floating, but it is a lovely place for photos and a unique part of the landscape.
The real highlight of this experience is the natural mud therapy and the nearby sea. Apply the dark mineral mud to your skin, let it dry under the sun, then rinse off in the Black Sea. Many visitors enjoy the feeling of refreshed skin, relaxation and connection with nature after this simple coastal ritual.
The visit also includes time in the natural area known as Kosata, the sandy strip between Pomorie Lake and the sea. It is wild, peaceful and very different from the busy beaches of Sunny Beach. This is not a luxury spa with perfect facilities. It is a raw natural place, and that is exactly what makes it special.
This private trip is ideal for couples, friends, families and small groups looking for an affordable wellness escape close to Sunny Beach.
