What you can expect

    1. Welcome and introduction
      Your French-speaking live guide, a certified mountain tour leader, will meet you in the vicinity of Leknes or Svolvær. After an introduction to the route and surrounding landscapes, you will receive your gear and a safety briefing. The things to do start and end at the same meeting point.

    2. Gear and preparation
      You will be provided with suitable snowshoes and poles, along with a simple explanation of how to use them. A few technical and practical tips will allow you to set off with confidence and make the most of the walk.

    3. Snowshoe hike
      You will then set off on a hike of approximately 4 hours, at the group's pace, through spectacular snowy landscapes. Several breaks are planned to admire the panoramas, listen to cultural anecdotes, and discover the local nature thanks to the educational explanations of your live guide.

    4. Return and social gathering
      The loop concludes at the starting point. To round off the experience, you will share a pleasant moment over a drink, with the opportunity to discuss your impressions and ask any final questions.
