The Hill that is watching over the capital along with the Millennium Cross is the symbol of the city. We are going to be transferred to the middle of the hill from where we will continue to the Millennium Cross by the cable car.

We will take the cable car and take a 10-minute ride to the Millennium Cross, from where we can make a 360 view of the entire Skopje plain.

This is a beautiful church dedicated to the Holy healer St. Panteleimon. It is located near the village of Nerezi ad has rare Renaissance frescoes from the 12th century.

The beautiful Matka Canyon is a place that you must visit during your stay in Macedonia. We are going to make a small boat ride to the Vrelo Cave and admire one of the deepest underwater caves in the world. We will have lunch in the local restaurant on the Lake shores.

The view of the lake from here is unbelievable. The Theatre itself is from the 2 century BC and today is used for cultural events like the famous Ohrid Festival, held every July.

The Archaeological site is located just under the Samoil Fortress. The church of St. Panteleimon located here is built by St. Clement and his remains are buried here.

The portraits of the six Roman popes are painted inside the church, which reflects the relations between the Eastern and the Western church before the schism in 1054. The bare-foot Christ as well as the cycle of the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste, are some of the rarities that make the gallery of St. Sophia a unique gallery of paintings. Its magnificent architecture is one of the most beautiful buildings in the Byzantine architecture in general.

The reconstruction of a prehistoric settlement on the water is unique in the area. On the lake bed 6000 remains of wooden piles were found. This was once a small village set on a wooden platform in the lake, connected with a wooden movable bridge with the land. The water here is so clear, you have the impression that you can touch it. The view of the museum and the lake is indescribable.

It is an archaeological site located in the country centre and was once an ancient town of Paeonia, later turned into a capital of the Roman province Macedonia Salutaris. The preserved mosaics are the symbol of the Stobi archaeological site.

We will visit one of the wineries in the region, which is having the same name as the archaeological site, Stobi Winery. We will have lunch with winetasting. We will taste some of the best wines produced in the region.

After we return to Skopje, we have a free evening for visiting the Old Bazaar or the National Gallery in Skopje.

Today, after breakfast, we may take you to some shopping centers in the city, before your transfer to Skopje Airport for your return flight.
