What you can expect

Before departure: Ask for your breakfast box
The tour departs before sunrise. The night before, ask your hotel to prepare a breakfast box to take with you — many hotels in Siem Reap offer this service free of charge if requested in advance. This way, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast in front of the temple as the sun rises, without having to rush or make impromptu stops.

5:00 AM — The reflection that changes everything
Your local guide in Spanish takes you directly to the exact spot by the entrance pond where the reflection of Angkor Wat on the water is perfect. No need to search among hundreds of tourists. The sky goes from dark blue to orange and pink in minutes—and your guide knows exactly when and where to be.

7:00 AM — Inside Angkor Wat without the crowds
After sunrise, when light streams through the corridors, is the best time to tour the interior. The 800 metres of bas-reliefs depicting the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, the South Gallery, the Central Tower, and the Lotus Ponds—all explained in Spanish with real historical context, not just dates.

9:30 AM — Angkor Thom City and Bayon Temple
The walled city that was the capital of the Khmer Empire. You will enter through the South Gate, flanked by 54 statues of gods and demons, and arrive at the Bayon: 216 smiling faces carved in stone watching you from every direction. Along the way, you'll stop at the Terrace of the Elephants – 300 metres of life-size bas-reliefs – and the Terrace of the Leper King.

11:30 AM — Ta Prohm: Where the jungle eats the temple
For centuries, the roots of Spung trees have embraced towers and walls. Your guide will take you to the most photogenic and least crowded spots before the bulk of the midday visitors arrive. The site everyone recognises from Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, experienced without the crowds.

1:00 PM — Lunch break
Near the main entrance, there are local restaurants where you can enjoy a good meal for less than $8. Your guide can recommend places where locals eat, not tourists.

2:30 PM — Banteay Kdei and the Srah Srang Pond
A peaceful, cool, and uncrowded temple to end the day. Right across the street, the Royal Srah Srang Pond offers the perfect way to end the day: sit, breathe, and process everything you've experienced before returning to Siem Reap. You will be dropped off back at your hotel at around 4:00 PM, giving you time to shower and enjoy the evening.

This tour is public (max. 15 people), which allows for the most affordable price without sacrificing a Spanish-speaking guide or an optimised itinerary. Ideal for Spanish-speaking travellers who want to understand what they see, not just photograph it.
