What you can expect

  • By choosing this shore excursion, you will have a private return transfer to the chosen destinations, where you will have free time in order to enjoy the visit in full autonomy and flexibility. Kindly note that it is possible to request a tour guide at extra cost.

Our driver will pick you up from your cruise port at your most preferred time and, in comfortable private vehicles, you will arrive in Castelmola, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy. With just a single glance, from here you can admire both the Ionian coast, the monumental Etna, the Bay of Giardini-Naxos, the Cape of S. Alessio, the Strait of Messina and the Calabrian coast.

Afterwards, you will discover the beautiful Taormina, the pearl of the Mediterranean: the wonderful Greco-Roman Theatre with its terrific views over Mount Etna and the bay, the Cathedral of San Nicolò di Bari, the Public Gardens, the fascinating Corso Umberto with its boutiques and colourful balconies and much more.

The driver will pick you up from Taormina at the agreed time to take you back to your cruise.
