Begin your tour at Zhang Garden, a stone gate area where you can see traditional Shanghai-style architecture. Relax in this tranquil space before heading to a Michelin-recommended restaurant to try Xiaolongbao, a type of Chinese soup dumpling.

Next, visit the Rock Bund, an architectural area near the Bund. Admire the Western-style buildings and enjoy one of the best spots to see the skyline. Walk along the riverside to see local life and stop at a beer house to try a Shanghai brand beer or a coffee shop to enjoy a drink along the riverside.

End your tour in Tianzifang, a part of the French Concession in Shanghai. Here, you can try street food like Chinese pancakes.
