Located in Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai, the Shanghai Auto Museum officially opened in January 2007, being China's first professional auto museum. With a construction area of approximately 28,000 square metres and an exhibition area exceeding 10,000 square metres, the museum is divided into the History Hall, Collection Hall, Exploration Hall, etc. It collects and displays more than 80 classic and vintage cars, including the world's first car. The building adopts a design with a lot of smooth curves, embodying the sense of speed of cars. It is a popular scenic spot integrating popular science education and cultural experience, allowing visitors to experience the century-old development history and technology of cars simultaneously.
