The tour begins in Ponta Delgada and heads towards the Pico do Carvão Viewpoint, where you can enjoy a prime view of the island's north and south coasts, offering a unique perspective of São Miguel's geography.
We will also visit some of the island’s most iconic viewpoints: Miradouro do Rei (King’s Viewpoint), the impressive Miradouro da Boca do Inferno (Hell’s Mouth Viewpoint), and Miradouro do Canário (Canary Viewpoint), which are perfect spots to capture unforgettable photos of São Miguel’s volcanic landscapes.
The tour continues to the tranquil Lagoa de Santiago (Santiago Lake), a true natural haven within the volcanic caldera, offering views of the iconic Lagoa Azul (Blue Lake) and Lagoa Verde (Green Lake).
We will then continue to the Sete Cidades region, stopping at the village of Sete Cidades, where you can explore its picturesque streets and traditional architecture.
On the way back, we will stop at Miradouro do Escalvado (Escalvado Viewpoint), which offers panoramic views of the village of Mosteiros and the Ilhéus dos Mosteiros (Mosteiros Islets).
The journey continues to Lagoa do Fogo (Fire Lake), one of the most impressive lakes in the Azores, located within a nature reserve and known for its crystal-clear waters and untouched surroundings (visit subject to weather conditions and accessibility).
The tour concludes with the return to Ponta Delgada, after a day filled with nature, unique landscapes, and memorable moments.
