Overview

  • Begin your private shore excursion with pickup from Sendai-Shiogama Port. Travel comfortably in your own private vehicle. Unlike a large group tour, there is no need to keep pace with others, allowing you to enjoy each destination at your own pace.

Begin at Shiogama Seafood Wholesale Market, where you can explore a lively market filled with fresh seafood. Continue to Shiogama Shrine, a historic shrine highly revered by the Date clan during the Edo period.

Then travel to Matsushima, famous for its scenic bay dotted with pine-covered islands. Enjoy free time to stroll along the waterfront, visit temples and historic sites, browse local shops, or enjoy local food before returning to the port.

The driver speaks Japanese, with communication assisted by a translation app. Before the tour, you will receive an English digital guidebook and audio guide. Pre-tour customer support is available in English.
