What you can expect

    1. Lecture (10 min)
      Learn about the 700-year history of Seki cutlery and the storey behind the creation of the Wa NAGOMI knife series crafted by Mitsuboshi Cutlery.

    2. Factory Tour (15 min)
      Seki’s knife-making tradition is based on a division of labour. At Mitsuboshi Cutlery, craftsmen assemble parts processed by partner companies, polish the handles with great care, and sharpen the blades by hand. You will see the entire process up close and can even hold samples from each stage to feel the differences.

    3. Showroom Visit (10 min)
      Experience the finished products first-hand. Seeing them after the factory tour will help you better appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail. If you wish, purchases can also be made on-site.
