Explore Segorbe Castle, used throughout the centuries, and now a peaceful park where you can soak in sweeping vistas over the valley below. Wander along sections of the old town walls, spot the surviving Executioner and Jail Towers from the 14th century, and marvel at the 13th-century Segorbe Cathedral, built over a former mosque and the only one in the Province of Castellón. Dependant on walking speeds and timings, we may also have time to visit the Fuente de los 50 caños (Fountain of the 50 Spouts), an ornamental monument with fifty spouts representing each Spanish province, set on the Palancia River’s bank.
