Once you arrive at our facility in the historic old town of Messina, next to the Catalani Church, you will be greeted by our chef, who will welcome you with a toast and explain the experience you are about to have.
You will begin with an explanation of the typical Messina dishes that you will prepare, with a description of the ingredients.
You will have professional gear at your disposal, including an apron and a personal chef's hat that you can take with you as a souvenir of this experience, to better learn the chef's techniques.
The course begins with the preparation of 2 different types of starters:
The first course will be a classic of Sicilian cuisine, Parmigiana di melanzane, and we will continue with a trio of Polpettine alla Messinese.
Next, you will try your hand at preparing the very famous Sicilian first course: fresh pasta maccheroni alla Norma with aubergines and baked ricotta, where you will have the opportunity to knead the dough according to typical Sicilian tradition.
The second course, which is more than typical and UNIQUE, will be: braciole alla messinese.
Our preparation can only end with the Sicilian dessert par excellence, His Majesty IL CANNOLO.
Once the preparation is finished, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the dishes you have prepared, all accompanied by an excellent local wine.
To keep this unique experience in your memories, you will be issued a certificate of completion.
