What you can expect

  • A bus tour departing from Sapporo to enjoy a private fireworks cruise and finest hot springs at Lake Akan in eastern Hokkaido.
    Have a relaxing stay of over 16 hours at a 5-star hotel “TSURUGA Akan Yuku no Sato” which features hot springs with a panoramic view of Lake Akan and offers opportunities to experience Ainu culture throughout the property.
    After enjoying a buffet dinner at the hotel, you’ll board the “Lake Akan Sightseeing Boat”—chartered exclusively by Yomiuri Travel—to watch the fireworks (approximately 300 shots) launched over Lake Akan.
    On board, you can also enjoy a performance on the traditional Ainu musical instrument, the “mukkuri.”
    Also, we'll go ashore on “Churui Island,” a remote island floating on Lake Akan where “marimo” -a Special Natural Monument- are exhibited.
    If the weather is clear, you’ll be able to admire a star-filled sky.

Please take your time to relax at hotel with Onsen after you arrive. Enjoy the buffet dinner, which features Japanese cuisine made with seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido, as well as Italian, Chinese, and other Asian dishes, along with sweets and desserts. After dinner, board the Yomiuri Travel chartered boat, the “Lake Akan Sightseeing Boat,” and enjoy the fireworks display and onboard events; performance on the traditional Ainu Musical Instrument “Mukkur”.
