    The experience begins with a comfortable 50-minute drive through the lush Cantabrian countryside. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to Antonio López y López, the visionary patron whose influence shaped Comillas’ most iconic architectural treasures.

    Once in Comillas, enjoy a guided visit to El Capricho, one of Gaudí’s very few works outside Catalonia. This vibrant villa is a feast for the senses, featuring playful forms, colourful ceramic details, and bold architectural innovation—an unmistakable expression of Gaudí’s genius.

    Next, take a short walk into the heart of the village, where you’ll have free time to relax with a coffee or explore at your own pace. For those interested, there is an optional visit to the Old Major Seminary, highly recommended for its impressive scale and design by renowned architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, another master of Catalan Modernism.

    Before heading back, sit back and enjoy a scenic drive through Comillas, passing the elegant Sobrellano Palace and Chapel, the atmospheric Old Cemetery with its striking sculpture of the Ángel Exterminador, and the town’s charming beach and small port—perfect final touches to a truly memorable visit.
