On this sightseeing tour, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in a minivan to visit the city's most iconic sites.

Your first stop will be for a walking tour where you will learn about the history of the historic centre of the city. Here we will visit the imposing Cathedral of Santander and learn about the history of this church, which has seen the city grow over the centuries. We'll continue our walk to see the Pereda Gardens and go up to the roof of the avant-garde Centro Botín, a cultural and architectural landmark of the city.

Next, we'll head to the iconic Palacio de la Magdalena, the former summer residence of the Spanish royalty and the building that served as the setting for the series “Gran Hotel”. Access to the Peninsula is restricted, so we can get there by taking a walk around the surrounding area or by taking the tourist train known as “el magdaleno”, which will comfortably take us around the Peninsula.

After visiting the area around the Palace, we'll get back in the vehicle for a panoramic tour of El Sardinero, Santander's most elegant and touristy area, known for its wide avenues and stately character. It will be a panoramic tour in our minivan to see the Casino del Sardinero, the Racing stadium, and Mataleñas Beach, among other sights.
