What you can expect

Discover the fascinating Che Trail in Bolivia on this 2-day, 1-night tour. Retrace the steps of Ernesto “Che” Guevara, from his arrival to his final moments. The tour begins in Vallegrande (or Santa Cruz), a key city in Che's life storey.

On the first day, you will explore Vallegrande, visiting the moving Che Memorial (where he was found), the guerrilla mass grave, the Señor de Malta Hospital (morgue), the Ruta del Che Museum, and other cultural sites. Enjoy the local cuisine, with vegetarian and gourmet options. You will have the evening free to explore or enjoy an optional folk music performance.

On the second day, you will travel to La Higuera, 61 km (38 miles) from Vallegrande, where you will visit the small school, the Quebrada del Churo gorge (the site of Che's final battle and capture), Jaguey, and the telegraph operator's house. You will go on a hike in the Quebrada del Churo gorge, feeling the history with every step.
