Departing from the port of Sanary-sur-Mer, we offer you a dolphin-watching cruise off the Hyères Islands, as well as a stopover on the island of Porquerolles.
We will set sail in search of striped dolphins or other, less common species. Depending on the dolphins we encounter and the time remaining, we will try to reach areas where whales are regularly observed.
Accompanied by naturalists and photographers from “Découverte du Vivant,” we will offer you a lecture on board, as well as presentations over the ship’s public address system, covering basic biological information about all the species encountered during the outing. The Croix du Sud V holds the High Quality Whale Watching label, which guarantees a high-quality, sustainable, and respectful cetacean-watching experience.
On each cruise, the Découverte du Vivant naturalists provide a free photo report.
You will also disembark for a free stopover on the island of Porquerolles. This will be your chance to discover its picturesque village, its rugged landscapes, and its idyllic coves. Its beaches were voted among the “most beautiful beaches in Europe” in 2012—an accolade well deserved!
