Begin your day in San Pedro with check-in before heading across the channel towards Catalina Island. Along the way, keep an eye out for dolphins, whales, sea lions, seabirds, and other marine life. Sightings are never guaranteed, but the Catalina Channel is known for incredible ocean wildlife, and the crossing is one of the best parts of the trip.
Depending on ocean conditions, the trip may include an optional deep open-water plunge in the middle of the channel. This is a unique chance to jump into clear blue water far offshore, surrounded by nothing but ocean.
Plan for a snorkelling or swim stop when conditions allow, including areas such as the Blue Caverns on the Two Harbours side of Catalina. All in-water activities are conditions permitting and based on captain and crew approval for safety.
Once you arrive at Catalina, enjoy approximately four hours of island time. Depending on the trip route, visit either Avalon or Two Harbours. Avalon offers restaurants, bars, shopping, beaches, golf carts, zip lining, parasailing, scuba diving, and plenty of places to explore. Two Harbours offers a quieter, more rugged island experience with beautiful coves, hiking, snorkelling, beach time, and a relaxed small-town Catalina feel.
The boat includes comfortable seating, a marine bathroom, easy ocean access from the swim step, large ladders, hot showers, complimentary coffee, donuts, fruit or light snacks, free Starlink WiFi, music, and a fun laid-back ocean adventure vibe.
