Day 1: San José to Turrialba

Begin your adventure with a transfer from San José to Turrialba, stopping at Irazú Volcano National Park along the way. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2: La Marta Wildlife Reserve and Pejibaye River Rafting

Visit the La Marta Wildlife Reserve, a protected area surrounded by rural communities. Explore the ruins of a historic coffee plantation and enjoy a nature walk through the reserve, home to diverse wildlife and bird species.

In the afternoon, experience the thrill of rafting on the Pejibaye River. Navigate the river’s rapids and enjoy the lush scenery along the way.

Day 3: Bosque Quemado and Return to San José (or continue to Dota region)

Hike through the Bosque Quemado, a striking volcanic landscape with scorched trees and stunning views of the Turrialba Volcano. After your hike, transfer back to San José or Dota, concluding your adventure.
