    From the indigenous Kumeyaay people's same sex relationships, to the formation of one of the first chapters of the Gay Liberation Front, Hillcrest has been the epicentre of some very important LGBTQ+ movements.

    Our time together will focus on San Diego's sleepy beginnings to its evolution as a college town, retirement community and military base- and the rainbow legacy it carries as it has evolved into the sprawling metropolis it is today.
