Get ready for a day filled with culture, colour, and charm! Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Kota Kinabalu city hotel, followed by a scenic 45-minute drive through green hills and local villages to the Mari Mari Cultural Village (Morning Sessions). Step into a world where time slows down and traditions come alive — watch how rice wine is made, try your hand at fire-starting and blowpipe shooting, and see how the tribes of Borneo once lived in perfect harmony with nature. Savour authentic Sabahan treats and enjoy a lively traditional dance performance that celebrates the island’s rich heritage.

After this cultural experience, continue to discover the heart of Kota Kinabalu City. Wander through the bustling Filipino Market, full of souvenirs and handmade crafts. Marvel at the breathtaking Kota Kinabalu Floating Mosque, which sits gracefully on the lagoon, during an outside-only photo stop, and admire the modern architecture of the Tun Mustapha Tower. Visit the peaceful Puh Toh Tze Temple, home to the beautiful statue of the Goddess of Mercy, and stop by the Atkinson Clock Tower, one of the oldest landmarks in the city. Before heading back, treat yourself to locally made chocolates at the Cocoa Kingdom — a sweet ending to your Sabah combo adventure.
