Immerse yourself in the rich wine-making and cultural traditions of Andalusia with a visit to a historic winery located in the heart of Ronda, Málaga. Explore a historic house-palace that has been transformed into a cultural space and museum, offering a unique opportunity to discover the secrets of the renowned wines of the Serranía de Ronda.
During your visit, wander through a historic building that preserves the essence of Andalusian heritage and traditional wine-related architecture. Learn about traditional winemaking methods and the grape varieties that thrive in the region's altitude and climate, including red varieties such as Petit Verdot, Tempranillo, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the prized Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel Morisca.
The highlight of the experience is a guided tasting of local Ronda wines. Sample a selection of wines representative of the area and discover the tradition of “Vino a Pellizco,” a charming local custom revived by the winery that invites you to enjoy wine in small shared doses, accompanied by a sample of local gastronomic products.
At the end of the tour, visit the winery's gourmet shop to take home the best wines and artisanal delicacies from the region.
Please note: This is a traditional “Vino a Pellizco” experience, not a formal sommelier-led wine tasting. Wines are tasted directly from the barrels using small traditional tasting glasses, following a local Ronda tradition.
The experience combines two parts: a self-guided visit to Casa Don Bosco after a brief introduction, followed by the traditional wine experience at the winery.
