The meeting point is at 8:00 AM in Riva Trigoso, a hamlet of Sestri Levante (GE).
Here you will meet your mountain guide and begin the approach to the cliff on foot, with a leisurely walk of about 45 minutes.
The location chosen for this day of climbing will seem truly spectacular to you: Punta Baffe is in fact a high sandstone wall overlooking the Ligurian Sea and topped by an ancient watchtower.
Once you reach the wall, your guide will give an introductory briefing to explain the basic progression techniques and safety rules. You will put on your harness and gradually begin your climb, with 9 climbing points of increasing difficulty set up on the wall, up to a maximum of 12 metres. Generally, a beginner climber can climb up to 4-5 metres.
As this is an exclusive experience for small groups (1-5 people), the guide will follow you closely at all times and help you progress. If you already have experience, the guide will give you tips on how to improve your technique.
The total duration of the activity will be 5 hours, of which approximately 4 hours will be spent climbing.
