What you can expect

  • Enjoy a scuba diving experience as part of a full-day boat trip from Rhodes.

    Join Waterhoppers North from Mandraki Harbour for a full day at sea, with diving, swimming, snorkelling and time to relax on board.

    If you have never dived before, no experience is needed. Your instructor first explains the equipment, breathing and basic underwater communication. You then spend approximately 5–10 minutes practising in the water so you can feel comfortable before your dive begins.

    Once ready, enjoy an approximately 20-minute guided beginner dive in the clear waters of Kalithea Bay. Your instructor stays with you throughout the experience.

    After your dive, you can use the snorkelling equipment, swim, relax on deck and enjoy the rest of the boat trip.

    Already a certified diver?
    Qualified divers are also welcome and can enjoy a guided dive during the day. An optional second dive is available for €35.

    Travelling with family or friends who do not want to dive?

    Snorkellers and passengers can also join the same Waterhoppers boat, allowing mixed groups to enjoy the day together.

    Please contact the activity provider after booking for information about available options for non-diving companions.

    A snack bar is available on board with drinks, snacks and light food.

    For beginner divers, an optional underwater photo pack is available for €25.

    Waterhoppers has been introducing visitors to scuba diving in Rhodes since 1990.

    Please note: this is not a full day of continuous diving. Your booking includes your diving experience as part of a full-day boat trip, with plenty of time afterwards to snorkel, swim and relax at sea.

    Weather & early/late season

    Your safety and comfort always come first. On days when weather or sea conditions make the boat trip unsuitable, the diving programme may be operated by road instead of by boat.

    During the early and late season, especially in April and November, the diving programme is normally operated by road.

    The diving experience remains the focus of the day, but the exact schedule, dive location and transport method may be adjusted depending on weather, sea conditions and the time of year.
