This exciting tour will take you into the real countryside of the Northern area of Vietnam by bike. Riding the winding roads on the hillside, you will have the chance to enjoy excellent views over the valleys, forest and rice paddy fields. In addition, you will have time to get into the everyday activities of the Red Dao and Black Hmong ethnic minority people in Ta Phin village.
At the departure time, you will be greeted and picked up at your hotel’s lobby by a local guide.
He then will take you to a mountain bike shop. You will be given a high quality mountain bike as your main vehicle of the journey.
You start the tour by riding mostly downhill through the outskirts of Sapa. You will pass by Sapa town before riding to Taphin village where Red Dao and Black Hmong people are living. Here, you can observe the unmixed cultural life of Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities, 2 largest ethnic groups in the area. They live happily together while maintaining their own tradition from generation to generation. You will walk along the lanes to see and visit local houses. Your will be interested in the unique architectural styles and furniture arrangement in these houses as well as their handicraft products.
In addition, while walking around, you can stop to chat with friendly local people here to understand more about their culture, customs and traditions.
Finishing the tour, you can choose to get back to Sapa either by car or by bike.
The tour ends when you arrive at Sapa.
