We will pick you up at 3:00 pm from your hotel in Puerto Maldonado. From there we will start a 30 minute drive to reach what is known as the entrance to the Peruvian jungle. We will advance through nature until we meet the Madre de Dios River.
We will board a canoe and enjoy a unique view of lagoons and palm trees. We will make a stop in the heart of the Madre de Dios River where we will practice piranha fishing for an hour. A deeply rooted tradition.
After our practice, we will continue our trip back to the shore. The canoe will run aground very close to the emblematic Collpa de Arcilla. For half an hour we will observe a hundred parrots feeding on the mineral salts contained in these clay lick.
We will leave the clay lick and return to the canoe for the return trip.
Finally we will drop you off at your hotel at 18:30.
