Every day, more than 500,000 wood-encased pencils are manufactured at Faber-Castell in Stein. How is a pencil made? Go behind the scenes of the production of wood-cased pencils on a guided tour of the modern factory. You will have the opportunity to follow the individual production steps and accompany the pencil or coloured pencil on its journey through the raw pencil line, the stamping department, the dipping department, and the sharpening department.
