What you can expect

  • This exclusive tour invites you to explore two of the region’s most iconic landmarks: the storied Hacienda de Corralejo and the mysterious Zona Arqueológica Plazuelas.

At Hacienda de Corralejo, step into a grand colonial estate. Learn about the artisanal process of tequila-making with a guided tour through the active distillery. Stroll through a museum dedicated to the rich history of tequila, browse unique local goods at the charming gift shop, and enjoy a traditional Mexican meal at the estate’s on-site restaurant.

Next, journey to the Plazuelas Archaeological Zone, one of Guanajuato’s most important pre-Hispanic sites. Nestled in the lush Sierra de Pénjamo, this ancient ceremonial centre reveals fascinating remnants of Mesoamerican civilisation. Walk among stone-paved plazas, admire petroglyphs carved into rock, and stand in awe before structures like the Plaza of the Columns and the enigmatic Pyramid of the Sun—a true window into Mexico’s ancestral past.
