Banteay Kdei

Banteay Kdei is also known as 'the citadel of monk's cells'. It is partially overgrown with towering, sinous trees. The silk cotton tree roots weaving their way through the stones of the ruined walls is a famously beautiful sight.

Angkor Thom was the latter capital of the Angkor Empire. The road takes us through the famous South Gate, lined with gods and demons locked in an eternal tug-of-war.
