Cenote Chihuan is a cenote with a maximum depth of 14 metres (50 feet), although most are about 6 metres (20 feet) deep. It has direct access to the surface in most of its areas, with the exception of a small underwater circuit. This cenote has a length of approximately 120 metres as reported by the caretakers. In the illuminated part of the cenote, which is near the entrance, you can see formations of stalactites, stalagmites, concretions and columns that extend to depths of 3, 6, 9, 11 and 13 metres. For divers with experience in caves, a tour between these impressive formations is offered. The natural beauty of the cenote, combined with its crystal-clear waters and the effects of artificial light, creates a surprising environment that will make you want to spend more time in this beautiful place.
