Bajra Sandhi Monument building process was also a kind of a struggle, with the process started in 1981 but stuck for several years. The monument is located in Niti Mandala, Renon, Denpasar, an area where most of the government offices are located. It stands majestically in the middle of a green field that is usually used by the public for sports such as jogging, football and basket ball during early morning or evening sessions and is always full of people doing activities on Sunday mornings.

Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest lies in Kutuh Village in the district of Marga, Tabanan, approximately 25km northeast of Denpasar and 4,5 kilometres from Tabanan regency. Thus theoretically, it should be considered as part of Mengwi, yet in reality the Tabanan royal family has developed most influence over this temple. Inside the forest is a namesake temple, usually referred to as Pura Dalem Kahyangan Kedaton.
