Audi Museum

The Audi Museum in Ingolstadt is an important stop on your private day trip. Opened in 2000, the museum's imaginative circular glass and steel building is a perfect example of 21st century modern architecture. As well as documenting the history of the Audi brand to the present day, it also houses an exclusive car showroom. The tour starts on the third floor and is divided into different time periods from 1899 to the present day. The museum houses more than 100 cars and motorcycles from all periods of the brand's history, as well as many practical multimedia aids. A unique feature is the paternoster (an open lift in constant motion), with vehicles on platforms that rotate from the upper to the lower level. You will have 2 hours for this stop on your private tour. The private driver will then transfer you to the next amazing sightseeing stop.
Cathedral of St Peter's
  • 2h
The history of Regensburg is very rich and it is impossible to determine exactly when it was founded. It was first a Celtic settlement and later a Roman military camp. One of the city's most important monuments is St Peter's Cathedral, considered the pinnacle of southern German Gothic architecture. It was built in the cathedral square on the site of the original Romanesque basilica, of which only the Eselsturm tower remains. The building is interesting for its ornate portals and a large number of statues of saints and various statues and reliefs of dragons, monsters and demons. The silver altar is a dominant feature and the deep well is also interesting. On the western pillars you will also find a rarity - a statue of a laughing angel. It is meant to show that God's salvation is for all. In the nave and choir you can see a number of medieval stained glass windows from all over Germany. You can end your private tour with some of the local culinary delights in the local restaurants.
