Gain knowledge and find peace as you are led on a private tour to witness some of Bali's most sacred and visited sights. Learn about the history of Taman Ayun temple, eat lunch in an idyllic location, and explore the charming village of Bedugul. Finish your day at Bali's most photographed temple.

Start with a visit to Taman Ayun, the Royal Temple of Mengwi. Built in 1634, this is a very impressive temple and considered by many to be Bali’s most sacred. The view of the temple surrounded by a wide moat creates a vision you won't forget.

From there, continue to visit Bedugul, a pleasant mountain village on Lake Bratan. See its lush botanical gardens and fresh market. Due to its higher altitude and cooler weather, Bedugul is Bali’s agricultural centre for vegetables.

Afterward, enjoy your set-menu lunch at a lakeside private villa. At the end of your lunch, take a short walk to the shore of the lake, and then board a traditional boat or jukung, for a short paddle to reach the Pura Bratan temple. Discover a different angle of this magnificent water temple as you approach and see the temple standing proudly, embracing the lake as it laps at its foundations.

At the end of the day head to Tanah Lot—Bali’s most photographed temple. The temple is perched on a little rocky islet that is inaccessible during high tides. Snap a few priceless photos before you are conveniently returned to your hotel.

Great guide and driver. Comfortable air conditioned vehicle. Brought us to the temples, in spite of godawful traffic everywhere. Very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly guide, who spoke perfect English. Lunch was ok. Limited choices in a tour bus style restaurant. All in all good value. Couldn’t have managed to visit all sites on our own.

Really enjoyed being driven around to different temples with our own personal tour guide. Guide was very knowledgeable (although it wasn’t always easy to understand his English) he was able to answer all our questions and was an excellent guide. They offered all sorts of options from a list to choose what we wanted to do and see that day (we choose the temples and being taken to a beautiful art gallery and then carvings/scuptures/statues one, but other options also available). And due to musty smell in our hotel room we asked if they could stop somewhere we could buy incense. And while we went with the guide to the hanging gardens temple when we got back the driver had gone and gotten us some lovely incense. That was a sweet touch and much appreciated:)

We did the Tanah Lot and Bedugul tour. Tanah Lot was very pretty but you are really only able to look at it from afar. In Bedugul we went to the Bali botanical garden. We would have liked to spend more time here but we felt very rushed. Lunch was only one choice which was fish. I do not eat fish but I was starving so I ate some. The view for lunch was very pretty though. The driver was a good driver. The tour guide seemed very knowledgeable but wasn’t the friendliest. It almost seemed like she did not want to be there.
