            1. 2026 Kamil Lhoták: The Landscape of Dreams
The exhibition “Kamil Lhoták – Landscape of Dreams” captures the artist’s work in its entirety, from his early steps in the 1930s to the culmination of his career in the 1980s, introducing visitors to several key areas and themes that were defining and characteristic of Kamil Lhoták’s work. The artist’s mastery is demonstrated through both small-scale works and large-format canvases.
We probably most often associate the name Kamil Lhoták (1912–1990) with paintings, but his body of work and involvement in the arts were much more extensive. He was also very active in the field of graphic art, where he created some 700 works. His illustrations can be admired, among other places, in more than 400 books that he illustrated.
