Itinerary: After being picked up in the city centre and before arriving at Cerro Rico, make a brief stop at the Miners' Market, the most attractive in the area. The mines visited are located at the base of the historic Cerro Rico of Potosí. Inside, you will be able to appreciate the miners' work system, which has remained largely unchanged after so many years of operation. Exploring the different galleries and interior levels of the mines, you will see places where the miners erected statues representing their gods, such as El Tío de la Mina (The Uncle of the Mine). You will also be able to observe the mineral veins, which are a collection of rocks and chemical formations of minerals, and the chimneys, as well as interact with the miners and observe the different work methods they use daily.
