      Experience authentic Portuguese cuisine during this baking class in a cosy Porto home. Gather in the kitchen and learn how to prepare pasteis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) following a local grandma's recipe. End your experience at the table with drinks and fresh pastries.
      Get welcomed into your host’s home and start by learning about your host and their family. After getting acquainted, roll up your sleeves and get ready to bake everything from scratch. Enjoy working in a calm space with lots of natural light and get everything you’ll need for a fun baking time.
      Following a recipe that has belonged to your host’s grandmother for years, learn how to create pasteis de nata with lots of love, time, and care. Everybody will get to help, taking turns and learning fun facts about the pastry.
      The class ends in the best way possible: together at the table with some coffee, tea, orange juice, and the freshest batch of homemade pasteis de nata you’ve ever had.

It’s recommended to use Bolt, or Uber for a fast ride. If you’re traveling with more than two people, it is the cheapest and fastest way. If you have your own car, there are free parking spots in the street. If traveling by bus from Bolhão, you can take bus 800 or 801 that stops just across the street from the house (direct 20-minute ride). Keep in mind that you can only buy the ticket inside the bus with coins. If traveling by metro from Trindade Station, you can take the Orange Metro Line (direct 30-minute ride) and leave at the Fânzeres stop, after which it takes about a 10-minute walk (700 meters) to reach the house. When arriving to the address the host is waiting for you inside her home, please ring the doorbell with the writtings " 2 Andar".
