Discover the real local life of Madeira on a guided walk through the heart of family farms and tropical gardens.
You will be guided by Angela and/or Stef, passionate French botanical guides who are deeply attached to this hamlet on the south coast, where they are now integrated into local life and close to its inhabitants.
With them, you will explore the terraced fields where banana trees, sugar cane, and many tropical species grow. You will discover how the locals still use the levadas to irrigate their plots and maintain these lands that have been cultivated for generations.
This immersive walk takes you to the heart of the village, where you can discover the landscapes, agricultural traditions, and the many tropical fruit trees: mangos, anonas, passion fruit, papayas, and more.
This is your chance to discover an authentic, vibrant Madeira, far from the usual tourist routes.
The tour ends in a convivial atmosphere with a tasting of homemade tropical juices prepared from local harvests.
