What you can expect

  • A car takes you from your hotel to Pokhara airport. The helicopter flies east over farmland, forest and Gurung villages towards Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II.

    You land near Kapuche Lake, a glacial lake at about 2,546 m at the foot of a glacier coming down from the Annapurna range. Walkers normally need several days to reach it from Sikles.

    After time on the ground at the lake, the helicopter flies back to Pokhara and a car returns you to your hotel.

    Flights only go in good weather. Autumn and spring usually give the clearest views.
