What you can expect

  • The evening begins with a pick-up at your hotel in the late afternoon. Comfortably seated in an air-conditioned vehicle, you will drive through the lively streets of Tunis to reach the bustling fishing harbour of La Goulette. As you approach the quay, a pirate-themed sailboat with its large black sail and skull-and-crossbones flag immediately catches your eye. This is where it all begins.

The captain and tender give you a warm welcome. You climb aboard and choose a spot to admire the scenery: the sea is shimmering, seagulls are circling the boat, and a gentle breeze heralds a wonderful evening. The boat slowly weighs anchor and sets sail for the Gulf of Tunis.

From the very first minutes of sailing, the show is already in full swing. On your right, you can see the imposing ruins of Carthage silhouetted against the coastline, while the sound of the waves and the gentle rocking of the boat create a soothing atmosphere. You will immediately feel a sense of escape and freedom.

Then comes the moment everyone has been waiting for: the boat stops in front of Sidi Bou Said. The famous cliff with its white houses and blue shutters rises before you, bathed in the golden rays of the setting sun. This is the magical moment when the sky is adorned with orange and purple, and the village seems to float between the sea and the sky. You then have about 20 minutes to capture this perfect scene. Take the opportunity to capture the scene – the perfect moment for a romantic photo with the legendary Café des Délices as the backdrop.

The sailing continues, and at the harbour,
the crew invites you to take your seats at the table. Dinner, worthy of a fine restaurant, is served: mechouia, Tunisian salad, followed by a grilled fish dish or a meat skewer accompanied by seasonal vegetables. The atmosphere becomes festive thanks to the traditional and modern music that the crew plays on the deck. Between bites, you chat with the other passengers, you laugh, and the evening passes by gently.

Before or after the trip, you will have free time in the village of Sidi Bouzid.
At the end, the vehicle will be waiting for you for the return journey. During the journey, you relive the vivid images of this getaway: the sunset, the serene beauty of Sidi Bou Said, the warm welcome aboard. You'll be dropped off at your hotel, your head full of stars and your heart brimming with emotion. A short but eventful evening, perfect for a couple, a family or a group of friends looking for an authentic and poetic interlude on the open sea.
