Overview

  • At Pietrabuona, above Pescia, the Le Carte Paper Mill is an eighteenth-century building where paper was made by hand. Today hosts the Paper Museum.

Here you don't just watch: in the “We Are All Paper Masters” workshop, the artisans of the Magnani Pescia company show you the gestures of the craft and then let you try the process step by step. In the end, you have a sheet made by you, different from any other.

A practical activity to experience first-hand a tradition that has been going on in Pescia for centuries.
